In 1985, Robert advanced his career significantly by assuming the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Amar Group of Companies. The position demanded a balance of tradition and innovation, requiring Robert to honour the foundations laid before him while also envisioning and executing new possibilities for growth.
From the very beginning, Robert approached leadership with a strategic mind and entrepreneurial heart. He was not content with managing what already existed; he sought to build what did not yet exist. His keen understanding of market trends, his ability to anticipate future demands, and his courage to take calculated risks set him apart.
