Dedication

This biography is lovingly and gratefully dedicated to the pillars of my life—those whose love, sacrifices, and unwavering support have shaped every fiber of who I am.

To my father, Mr. Omvir Singh, whose quiet dignity and tireless work as a Chief Optometry Officer inspired my earliest dreams. You were not just my guide—you were my example. From you, I learned discipline, responsibility, and the importance of service above self. Watching you care for patients with skill and sincerity gave my life its purpose. Your clinic was my first classroom, your actions my first lessons. Every time someone thanks me for restoring their vision, I silently thank you for giving me mine.

To my mother, Mrs. Sanyogita, a woman of strength, grace, and immense wisdom. As a school principal and a nurturing mother, you gave me the structure to rise and the softness to stay grounded. Your belief in education, your high standards, and your unconditional love are the foundation upon which every one of my successes rests. You were the calm in every storm and the courage behind every risk I took. I owe my inner strength to the values you instilled in me from the very beginning.

To my brother, Ashish, whose own journey in public service has always been a source of motivation and pride. Your steadfast dedication to your work and your quiet integrity have been both mirror and compass for me. Thank you for always being by my side—not just as a brother, but as a fellow traveler on a road of responsibility and purpose.

To his wife, Anshika, whose kindness and support have become an extension of the love that holds our family together. Thank you for being part of this story, for adding warmth to our bond, and for standing with us through life’s many seasons.

To Kusum, my beloved wife, my partner, my strength. You have walked this journey with me hand in hand, never once faltering even when the weight of my responsibilities made our days heavy. As an MDS and a surgeon, you understand what dedication looks like—and you’ve never asked me to be less of who I am. Thank you for your patience, your love, and your constant support. I am where I am because you gave me the space to dream and the strength to build.

And to Advit, my precious son—you are my legacy, my reason, my future. Your laughter lightens every burden, your presence gives meaning to every effort. I hope one day you read these words and understand that everything I have done, I did with you in my heart. May you always walk in light, with humility, courage, and compassion.

Finally, to every individual striving to turn their purpose into action—this story is for you. Let it remind you that no dream is too distant when love, values, and perseverance light the way.

Dr. Prikshit Rathee

Phase 1 : Childhood and Early life

“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you… never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.”

Dr. Prikshit Rathee was born on the 14th of September, 1991, in the serene heartlands of Haryana. From the earliest days of his childhood, he showed the kind of spark that set him apart from others. Born into a family of educators and healers, his path was paved not just by ambition but by legacy and inspiration. His father, a respected Chief Optometry Officer, and his mother, a dedicated school principal, infused in him the values of discipline, empathy, and relentless learning. Their influence would serve as a guiding light throughout his life.

As a child, Dr. Prikshit was always curious. While most kids were lost in games or television, he was drawn toward the world of medicine. The reason? His father’s eye clinic. Nestled in their locality, the clinic was more than just a place of treatment; it was a center of hope. Dr. Prikshit spent countless hours observing his father, watching patients arrive with blurred vision and leave with clarity not just in sight, but in spirit. He saw how people respected his father, how their eyes lit up with gratitude after being treated, and how his father’s calm, confident demeanor offered comfort even before the treatment began. These early impressions were not fleeting moments they became foundational memories that shaped his dreams.

Academically, he stood out from the crowd. With a keen mind and unwavering focus, he consistently excelled in school. His performance in the 10th and 12th standards was outstanding, achieving high marks and earning praise from teachers and peers alike. But what was more admirable was his ability to balance his academic dedication with his interest in sports. Whether it was running on the field or solving complex equations in the classroom, he gave his all.

Despite his brilliance, Dr. Prikshit remained humble and grounded. His parents’ occupations greatly influenced his understanding of life’s responsibilities. His mother’s role as a principal taught him the value of leadership, patience, and guidance, while his father’s work at the clinic instilled in him a desire to serve. Dinnertime conversations weren’t just about daily events; they were lessons in ethics, compassion, and the power of knowledge. Observing his father treat patients selflessly gave Dr. Prikshit a unique worldview: medicine was not just a profession it was a service, a promise to heal, to help, and to give hope.

Even during holidays or vacations, when other children might have relaxed, he would visit the clinic, not out of obligation, but out of fascination. He would sit quietly in a corner, observing the procedures, listening to patient stories, and absorbing everything like a sponge. That environment became his first classroom in the medical world. The warmth of patient care, the discipline of treatment, and the joy of seeing someone healed, it all left a deep imprint on his young heart.

His elder brother, working as a GST Inspector in Delhi, was another pillar of support and inspiration. The family, though involved in different sectors—education, healthcare, administration was united by one common thread: service to society. This atmosphere, where values were lived and not just preached, formed the perfect nurturing ground for Dr. Prikshit to grow into the man he would become.

Phase 2 : The Making of a Scholar

“Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.”

As the boy from Haryana grew into a determined young man, the foundation laid in his childhood began to bear fruit. After completing his schooling with distinction, Dr. Prikshit Rathee stood at a crossroads that many young adults face: choosing a path that aligns passion with purpose. For him, the choice was crystal clear. His fascination with medical sciences and the human body, coupled with the inspiration drawn from his father’s work in the eye clinic, naturally guided him toward the field of pharmacy.

He began his professional academic journey by enrolling in a Bachelor of Pharmacy program. In 2012, he successfully completed his B. Pharma degree, building a strong foundation in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and clinical pharmacy. While others may have seen a degree as a stepping stone to employment, for Prikshit, it was only the beginning of a deeper dive into the intricacies of medicine and healing.

His commitment to excellence and thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master’s in Pharmacy, which he completed in 2014. During these years, he displayed an impressive command over pharmaceutical sciences, mastering drug formulations, quality control, and therapeutic approaches. His professors often described him as one of the most dedicated and curious students they had encountered—someone who didn’t just study to pass exams, but to understand the science behind every molecule, every reaction, and every compound.

However, his academic hunger didn’t end there. With an ever-growing interest in vision science, inspired by years of exposure to his father’s work, Dr. Prikshit then began a Ph.D. in Optometry. This choice was unique, blending his pharmaceutical background with a specialized focus on vision care. From 2019 to 2023, he immersed himself in this intensive research and clinical field. His doctoral work was not just academic—it was deeply personal. It bridged the gap between his own professional identity and his father’s legacy.

Throughout his Ph.D. years, he didn’t just study the mechanics of the eye; he explored how medications and therapeutic practices could enhance ocular health. He researched innovative treatments, wrote papers, attended conferences, and collaborated with fellow scholars and medical practitioners. His work contributed not only to his personal growth but also added meaningful knowledge to the field of optometry and pharmaceutical sciences. His research was appreciated by peers and mentors alike, praised for its originality and practical applicability.

Parallel to his studies, Dr. Prikshit never stayed confined to books and labs alone. He believed in hands-on learning. During holidays, weekends, and even between semesters, he continued to work at his father’s clinic, not as a visitor anymore, but as a practitioner-in-training. There, he would assist with patient care, observe diagnoses, suggest pharmaceutical options, and handle responsibilities far beyond the expectations of a student. His clinical exposure gave him a rare combination of academic depth and real-world experience.

Phase 3 : Life Fueled by Passion

“It is never too late to be who you might have been.”

In a world increasingly drawn to shortcuts and instant gratification, Dr. Prikshit Rathee stands apart defined by an unwavering dedication that borders on obsession. To those who know him personally, one trait is abundantly clear: he is a workhorse, a perfectionist, and a man whose life revolves entirely around his mission. The same curiosity that led him as a child to spend hours observing his father in the clinic, and the same discipline that carried him through advanced degrees, has evolved into a relentless work ethic that few can match.

Dr. Prikshit does not believe in taking days off. For him, every sunrise is an opportunity—an invitation to learn more, do more, and heal more. While most professionals seek balance between work and life, he has found his life in his work. His pharmaceutical company isn’t just a business—it’s an extension of who he is. Whether it’s overseeing product development, ensuring quality control, managing logistics, or attending to medical queries from clients and practitioners, he is involved in every detail, every process, every decision.

His typical day starts early—often before the sun rises—and ends well past midnight. While others look forward to weekends or holidays, Dr. Prikshit sees them as days of uninterrupted productivity. He rarely indulges in entertainment, avoids outings unless absolutely necessary, and treats time as his most valuable currency. His only recreation, as he humbly admits, is working on improving his formulations or reading new medical literature. For him, joy is found in discovery, satisfaction in service, and peace in progress.

But behind this tireless grind lies a deeper motivation: impact. Dr. Prikshit doesn’t work hard simply to grow his company or earn profits. He works hard because he believes his efforts can lead to better lives, clearer vision, improved health, and dignified treatment for all. His enthusiasm for innovation stems from his belief that Indian pharmaceutical science can reach new heights if driven by sincerity, not just scale.

While many business owners delegate everything, he still insists on face-to-face consultations with patients who use his products. He listens to their feedback, notes their reactions, and adjusts his formulations based on real clinical outcomes. This commitment to ground-level involvement ensures that his work remains deeply rooted in compassion.

His enthusiasm is infectious. People in contact with him often find themselves inspired to push harder, learn more, and work beyond standard expectations. He has created a workplace culture where diligence is admired, excellence is non-negotiable, and every effort contributes to something meaningful. For Dr. Prikshit, leadership by example is the only form of leadership that matters.

"Her lessons were not loud, but lasting—whispers of empathy that echoed in transformed lives."
