Phase 1: The Journey of a Born Achiever

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” —George Bernard Shaw

Dr. Preety Suman was born on December 2, 1986, in Jammu and Kashmir to Mr. Ashok Prasad and Mrs. Kiran Devi in their loving home and was brought up in Jharkhand. Dr. Preety Suman showed both a curious nature and boundless determination to accomplish success. Born in a household that emphasized education and discipline, she learned fundamental values for hard work, which she acquired from her parents, who served as her life mentors.

While learning and enjoying their rigorous family living, Dr. Preety Suman spent her childhood with her brother Ashish. Her house gave her the basic principles that guided her life, therefore it taught her more than just comfort. Her parents provided her with unwavering encouragement and support, enabling her to explore every facet of her ability without any social constraints.

Her curious nature kept her away from accepting ordinary milestones. Dr. Preety Suman pursued every subject matter with an insatiable desire to learn as she mastered science alongside other subjects and literary studies. The foundation for her intellectual development was established when she started her schooling in D.A.V. Public School in Jharkhand.

Dr. Preety Suman pursued more than academic studies at school. Through her being, she showed an unshakeable affection toward dance, which she performed with grace. On stage she displayed an elegant presence. She had an unstoppable playing style in volleyball games. She brought attention to herself through both athletic leadership and perfect dance execution so that everyone in the audience took notice. As a person, she brought a forceful essence to everything she did.

She proved academic success through her position as the top scorer in her 12th-grade examinations, which demonstrated how discipline and dedication could overcome challenging targets. The achievement happened through tremendous focus along with strong inner conviction and unified direction of her purpose.

Family support served as a major influence in transforming Dr. Preety Suman into an ambitious individual. Mr. Ashok Prasad, her father, taught his daughter the critical values of education and honor. He often instructed her that obtaining knowledge provided one with the strongest weapon available. Her mother, Mrs. Kiran Devi, provided the support Dr. Preety Suman needed by encouraging grand ambitions with practical, ground-based advice. Ashish served as Dr. Preety Suman’s friendly companion, which motivated her to push beyond her current accomplishments towards higher achievements.

Dr. Preety Suman saw the most beautiful phase of her life when she married Mr. Raja Ram in April 2016, the love of her life. Their journey began years ago when they studied together in the same class at DAV School. They both reconnected professionally at Hinduja Global, where they worked side by side for four years before Mr. Raja Ram moved to another company for growth opportunities.

Dr. Preety Suman feels grateful that she is blessed with incredibly loving in-laws. Her mother-in-law is caring and supportive, and always motivates her to pursue her goals. Her father-in-law is very encouraging and always treats her like his own daughter. Her sister-in-law is a pillar of strength for their family who manages the household responsibilities and cares for their parents-in-law, which allows Dr. Preety Suman to focus more on her career.

Phase 2: Building the Foundation for Success

The outstanding achievement of class 12th examination led her to enroll at Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand, to study a B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons.). She went through intellectual development during education that established the groundwork for her later analytical capabilities required for corporate problem-solving. She actively engaged with scientific studies, yet her strong interest in organizational management along with leadership qualities stayed forefront in her mind. She managed advanced subjects with exact precision because of her disciplined learning methods, which became the foundation of her future business career.

She organised a fund raising campaign for ill old ladies in 2006. She taught underprivileged kids in her free time and collected donations for orphans, blind people and old age homes.

She entered professional work after finishing her initial academic stages by joining St. Xavier’s School as a teacher cum school administrator in August 2004. The entry-level position gave her essential knowledge about leadership skills, administrative capabilities, and effective communication techniques. Her teaching career reinforced her skills in mentoring people and strengthened her people skills that transformed into key strengths in her subsequent human resources career. Her experience at St. Xavier’s became the foundation for her job in May 2006 at Prakash Punj Vedic School, where she had the role of school administrator. The early placement in administration showed her ability to exercise both competence and efficiency in accepting managerial positions.

Well on her way to success in education, Dr. Preety Suman discovered that she had a special attraction to corporate environments. She was naturally attracted to human resource management fields, which included training and organizational development, because she possessed excellent leadership skills. Her managerial abilities needed mentoring, so she enrolled at Vinayaka Mission University in Tamil Nadu to earn her Human Resource Management MBA degree from 2012 to 2014.

She started her corporate career at Hinduja Group during June 2008. After joining Hinduja, she was appointed to the position of customer relationship officer, which allowed her to improve her communications abilities and discover customer relationship dynamics and organizational business functions. The corporate sector felt completely distinct compared to education, but her ability to adjust quickly made her excel.

The development of her expertise in training approached a new level, which prompted her to trainer status during January 2010. She used her initiative to develop training resources that enhanced employee productivity. Her talent for building trainee connections resulted in remarkable contributions to the organization through her understanding of trainee issues and practical solution development.
