Born to Champavati Vijaybhai Chavda and Vijaybhai Ravajibhai Chavda, Dr. Krunal Vijaybhai Chavda entered the world on this day, marking the beginning of an exceptional journey. His birth was the start of a path that would defy societal norms, rewrite conventions, and ultimately make him a guiding light in the realm of astrology.
Born into a Mochi community, traditionally known for making shoemaker-type products, Dr. Krunal never walked in a world where astrology was an alien concept. Here was a man born into a society where it would be considered a rather impossible feat for someone in his caste and milieu. Jyotish—a field of astrology—had no footprints in his society, yet Dr. Krunal dared to dream of a life beyond circumstances.
Dr. Krunal’s fascination with astrology began when he was a young boy in the seventh standard. Without any formal training, mentorship, or access to resources, he discovered a natural inclination toward Jyotish Vidya. While still in the final year of school, Dr. Krunal fell in love with foreign culture and opportunities. Quietly and purposefully, he received a visa to Singapore—an extraordinary move for a young student coming from his background. At a time when international travel and education were the rarest of aspirations, especially for someone with Dr. Krunal’s limited resources, his ambition was exceptional.
Life took a different turn as Dr. Krunal did not have the monetary support that he required. Thus, higher education in Singapore was still a dream for him. Of course, this was not something that could stop him. He was only strengthened to succeed on his terms. Therefore, he moved his focus toward higher education within India.
Nothing could deter Dr. Krunal from seeking education in the best institution he could find. He joined a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course. The insight he gained into computer technology provided him with new skills and helped him develop a wider perspective in problem-solving approaches that later went well with his astrology works. Yet, there was in him a keen desire for international education.
When Dr. Krunal was midway into his BCA program, he revived his foreign study dream. This time, his destination was the United Kingdom. Taking things seriously, he got himself a visa and went to the UK, which marked a new leg of his journey in education.
Unfortunately, owing to unforeseen family situations, he had to drop his UK studies mid-term. Dr. Krunal had to leave the UK and return to India with unfulfilled academic expectations abroad. While this set him back, it proved to be an essential turning point in his life, focusing him back on his true calling—Jyotish.
Phase 3 : The Struggles and Lessons of UK Life
Dr. Krunal Vijaybhai Chavda’s sojourn to the UK was nothing but a story of great challenges alongside the succor of existence and survival. Through his time abroad, he faced serious turmoil that harnessed his physical strength, emotional endurance, and an unrelenting will to come out on top.
It was in 2010 that Dr. Krunal went to the UK, seeking to explore opportunities and broaden his horizons. But he soon found out that life in a foreign country was far from what he had dreamt of. The global economy had gone into turmoil; jobs were scarce. By that time, even technical people, who were above this type of affectation, were barely able to secure stable employment.
Dr. Krunal remained unfazed, taking up whatever opportunities were available to ensure survival. It was then that flexibility emerged as his greatest asset, allowing him to take on a string of jobs requiring both robust physical labour and mental grit.
