This biography is dedicated to my mother—my constant source of strength, grace, and quiet resilience. Through every twist and turn in life, she stood by me with unshakable faith and love, holding our small world together when everything else seemed uncertain. Her sacrifices have been the soil in which my dreams took root, and her values are the compass by which I continue to navigate life and leadership. Everything I have built, and everything I continue to strive for, carries her love at its core.
To my late father, whose discipline and integrity as a police officer still inspire me daily—your memory lives in every decision I make, in every challenge I face head-on. Though your time with me was brief, your presence has never left my path.
This book is also lovingly dedicated to the friends who believed in me before the world saw any reason to. To Sudeep Ranjan Medhi, Kankan Kalita, Papon Roy, Niranjan Talukdar, Bikram Pegu, Pranab Bharali, and Angsuman Kalita— thank you for being more than companions; thank you for being the backbone of my journey. Your unwavering support, belief, and encouragement lit the fire when all I had was a flicker of hope. Without you, ATLAS may have never been born. You are not just part of my story—you are part of its very foundation.
To everyone who walks a path of uncertainty with courage and dreams with open eyes, this biography is for you. May you find strength in struggle, clarity in chaos, and faith in your own evolution. Every obstacle is a stepping stone, and every setback, a chapter waiting to be overcome.
Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri
Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri was born, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, into a family full of dignity and simplicity. His early life was nurtured by the character traits of integrity alongside humility and his parents’ strong determination, which originated from their traditional values. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri’s father was a disciplined and honorable police officer, who dedicated his life to service. As a police officer, he wielded respect as a protector of the law and gained fear from his work but remained gentle within his domestic sphere. Despite being a homemaker, his mother managed to bring harmony and serenity to their household. Through her caregiving spirit, she maintained the family orientation and transferred emotional intelligence along with empathy to her son.
Childhood for Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri unfolded with simplicity, yet it was deeply enriched by parental love because he was the sole child in his family. The family of Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri received financially limited support from his parents, who nevertheless secured adequate necessities for their child. Education occupied prime importance for the Patgiri household. According to his father, the greatest form of money you could accumulate was information. The quiet delivery of those words established a future mission for the boy, who had no idea what direction he would choose. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri saw how his father’s uniform carried substantial weight as he grew older, while he admired how his mother performed all responsibilities with confidence in the background. Dignity embraced their lives while they rejected all forms of excess.
The day in which he lost his father transformed everything entirely. The tragic sudden death created an enormous earthquake-like transformation in the entire fabric of his life. Due to loss and the unknown,
darkness filled our house, which had previously resounded with joy and his father’s silent authority. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri encountered his destiny as the household leader soon after his father’s sudden departure during an existence where children normally receive shelter from life’s tougher realities. He found no alternative to carrying his heavy responsibility because he only had himself and his mother in the household. He, alongside his mother, confronted an unpredictable future, which seemed overwhelming because he was without anyone else.
That moment created the decisive fire from which his personality emerged. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri accepted the enormous duty instead of giving in to sadness through a strong commitment to do the task. Self-pity did not have room in his new reality. His mother needed him at this moment since she had sacrificed everything for him with gentle patience. A transformation happened that affected both his future and the legacy established by the Patgiri family.
The first step his steps took in Guwahati occurred because of the need to survive rather than pursue ambition. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri was able to see magical opportunities in the city lights, which also produced a harsh threat of challenge. He entered the city while carrying a big weight of responsibilities together with his simple wardrobe of clothes and an answerless heart full of hope and mystery.
The sudden death of Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri’s father left him no opportunity to go through grief in the usual way during his time of loss. The city provided him no space for rest or assistance during his arrival. He needed to support his mother and cover expenses while building his life anew because he was the only child. Since he was the single offspring, his responsibilities grew into a massive singular weight. He knew his life purpose at a time when others his age were discovering themselves because he carried few responsibilities: provider roles and decision-making authority, also combined with his dreamer identity.
The start of his path began within a generic call center due to his lack of both financial support and external connections. The position awarded him income for survival. The work experience offered him independence within the urban environment despite being minimal. The business world showed no interest in his previous hardships as he started working in the corporate sector. Every aspect of work was controlled by performance metrics, which determined employee worth. The daily routine involved endless phone calls as well as sleepless nights and rotating shifts, which defined his workdays. The endless cycle of fatigue allowed him to discover energy within himself. He was learning.
His consecutive job positions developed into better prospects, though they might have seemed unimportant during his employment. The corporate job hopping served two purposes because he needed steadiness based on both financial needs and emotional and professional growth demands. Evolution, not inconsistency, drove him to shift between different jobs. At every job he progressed by gaining valuable information about sales techniques and managerial practices.
The progression of life leads every person to a clearing that separates visionaries from implementers at the point where determination conquers doubt and an imagination transforms into concrete development. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri realized his years of fighting served to survive and also to create something meaningful without any dramatic noises. It was about creating, creating something meaningful, something lasting. Atlas Bio Science received its initial momentum after Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri recognized his purpose.
After working multiple jobs in Guwahati as a call center employee and corporate office employee, Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri developed an unignorable urge that directed him toward entrepreneurship. The repeated execution of instructions combined with the employment-based limitations for progress started to irritate his entrepreneurial drive. The numerous companies where Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri worked provided him with valuable abilities, but he maintained an internal understanding that entrepreneurship would someday lead him to create his own dream. The future in front of him belonged to developing his own visionary project.
Without templates, dreams become a challenging task to accomplish. The journey of building a business from nothing with no evident support system demanded more than smart business concepts. Starting a new venture needed unconventional thinking combined with unwavering confidence alongside the most essential requirement of backing from others. Thankfully, Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri was not alone. His extended circle of devoted friends gave him their full faith and dedication, probably more than he did to himself after years spent together. His character impressed them as much as his ideas did because they could recognize potential in both aspects.
At the start he consistently used strategic thinking as his method to handle business operations. Business creation for him demanded both monetary revenue and substantial worth production. Business relationships within their sphere occupy an equal position with business results in terms of importance, according to his understanding.
A significant moment emerged from his decision to start applying innovative cost-control systems that improved operational performance throughout the company. During the period, other businesses spent resources on momentary profits. Dr. Hrisikesh Patgiri dedicated himself to establishing solid infrastructure. He implemented pricing policies that maintained affordable prices yet sustained business viability, thus enabling natural expansion without damaging customer faith.
