A significant chapter of his life began when he entered the Forensic Science Laboratory, Uttar Pradesh. What started as the beginning of a professional journey gradually transformed into a lifelong association with forensic science. Beginning his career as a Laboratory Assistant, he continued progressing through different responsibilities, eventually serving as a Scientific Officer (Serology). Over the years, his journey across forensic laboratories in Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Lucknow, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad, brought him diverse experiences and opportunities to grow within the field.
Through his work in forensic serology, Dr. Ashutosh contributed to the examination of biological evidence and scientific analysis connected with investigations. His experience of analysing more than 3,000 forensic serology cases reflects years of dedication towards accuracy, responsibility, and scientific procedure. Beyond the technical aspects of his profession, he has always valued the importance of learning, adapting to changing methods, and sharing knowledge with those who continue the work ahead.

His father, Maniram Srivastava, worked as a government employee and was the only earning member of the family. Supporting and educating three children was a responsibility that rested on his shoulders, and Dr. Ashutosh understood from an early age the dedication and effort that went behind creating opportunities for the family. The circumstances of his childhood taught him the importance of responsibility and made him aware of the value of hard work.
His mother, Vimla Devi, played an equally important role within the family. His first posting was at the Forensic Science Laboratory, Agra.
