Dr. Divyesh Dhamecha came from a small yet strong family in 1990. His father, Mr. Chandrakanth Dhamecha, was a dedicated farmer who worked hard in his agricultural activities growing coriander and groundnut seeds and selling to have a normal life. The family lived in a village in their early years and ran a small business with few resources. Although the difficulties of not being able to buy chocolates or other small luxuries when he was at school, the values and hard work continued to be their guiding principles.
The simplicity of country life has its roots in Dr. Divyesh’s early memories. He had been exposed to both the beauty and the difficulties of early agricultural life till he was seven years old. The family moved to the city after Dr. Divyesh completing his second grade in search of brighter possibilities. At some point, they made their home in Junagadh which was part of eight-districts in Saurashtra area of Gujarat.
His mother, a homemaker, played a pivotal role as the foundation of the family, offering unconditional love, support and stability during times of financial constraint. Education was not a family tradition, as no one before him had pursued formal studies. Yet, these circumstances sowed the seeds of ambition and resilience in Dr. Divyesh, shaping his aspirations and determination to create a better future.
Over time, the family’s agricultural business steadily expanded. Mr. Chandrakanth Dhamecha’s relentless efforts in trading agricultural products transformed the small venture into a more stable livelihood. Phase 2 : Schooling & Educational Foundations
Dr. Divyesh Dhamecha’s educational journey began in Junagadh, Gujarat, a city known for its rich history and vibrant culture. His early schooling up to the 2nd grade took place in a small village, where he attended a government school. These formative years, though marked by simplicity, sparked his curiosity and set the foundation for his love of learning. After relocating to Junagadh, he continued his education at Nobel School, which was situated in a still-developing town. In 2007, Dr. Divyesh completed his 12th grade, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey.
Dr. Divyesh enrolled in Saurashtra University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from 2007 to 2009, intending to fulfil his goals in education. He became quite interested in accounting and finance during this time, which encouraged him to look into professional qualifications. He started preparing for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s (ICAI) Chartered Accountancy (CA) program along with his undergraduate studies. He showed his expertise in accounting practices and financial management by passing the CA Foundation and Intermediate tests.
To further enhance his academic credentials, Dr. Divyesh pursued a Master of Commerce (M.Com) from Kalinga University, deepening his understanding of advanced commerce and business concepts. In 2012, he expanded his qualifications by enrolling in an LLB program at Saurashtra University, integrating legal studies with his strong background in commerce and finance.

Phase 3 : The Entrepreneurial Evolution
Dr. Divyesh Dhamecha was deeply inspired by his father, Mr. Chandrakanth Dhamecha, who dedicated 17-18 hours a day to his work in the agriculture business. Witnessing his father’s relentless efforts instilled in Dr. Divyesh a strong work ethic and a determination to stay busy and productive. While initially considering continuing the family business, he soon realised his desire to build something of his own.
This realisation motivated him to pursue Chartered Accountancy (CA) alongside his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). Balancing both fields simultaneously gave him a sense of accomplishment and drive. During college, Dr. Divyesh’s peers frequently sought his help during exams, recognizing his proficiency in subjects like income tax and auditing. Teaching them not only deepened his own understanding but also sparked his passion for coaching. This early experience laid the foundation for his future entrepreneurial ventures in both education and consultancy.
In 2014, Dr. Divyesh took his first step into entrepreneurship by launching Dhamecha Daftary Consultant LLP, specialising in taxation services, including Income Tax, GST, accounting, audits, and appeal practices. The firm catered to a diverse clientele, including companies and partnership firms, handling their audits, filings, and compliance tasks.
The following year, in 2015, Dr. Divyesh entered the education sector by founding Commerce Eduwizz Pvt. Ltd., where he served as the director. His commitment to education did not stop there. He also took on the franchise for J.K. Shah Classes, India’s largest CA coaching institute, and became the Head of Saurashtra. Under his leadership, J.K. Shah Classes grew into a prominent name in the region, helping countless students pursue careers in commerce and finance.
Today, the institute serves over 500 students in Junagadh, 100 in Porbandar, and 400 in Jamnagar, teaching approximately 1,000 students daily across Saurashtra.
Dr. Divyesh’s entrepreneurial approach is rooted in hard work and strategic planning. He dedicates ninety percent of his time to business development in the coaching sector. He has conducted over 300 seminars in schools and colleges, focusing on topics such as Income Tax, GST, and commerce education. These seminars have been instrumental in forming partnerships with educational institutions and driving the growth of his business, which now has an annual turnover of ₹5 crores, with plans to reach ₹7 crores.
The remaining 10% of Dr. Divyesh’s time is spent managing his taxation consultancy firm, where he ensures clients’ compliance and advisory needs are met. The firm offers a comprehensive suite of services, ranging from Income Tax filings and audits to ROC (Registrar of Companies) filings, helping clients maintain their financial and regulatory well-being. His story is one of relentless effort, continuous growth, and the pursuit of excellence.

Articleship is a critical part of the CA journey, offering real-world exposure to finance and accounting. Dr. Divyesh recalls two significant challenges during his first assignment at a bank audit:

- Loan Document Approvals
Later that same day, he was asked to review documents to decide whether loans should be approved for certain parties. Despite the bank manager being ready to sanction the loans, the final decision required Dr. Divyesh’s verification. This responsibility was daunting, especially given his inexperience at the time.
Though these tasks were filled with fear and uncertainty, they ultimately became invaluable learning opportunities. They taught him the importance of accountability, precision, and gave him the confidence to trust in his abilities.
Building a Legacy in Saurashtra
When Dr. Divyesh began his coaching business, the journey was not without its obstacles. However, through perseverance and dedication, he succeeded in establishing a monopoly in the Saurashtra region, where 90% of commerce students now study with him. Covering all eight districts of the region, his coaching institute became the go-to destination for quality education in commerce.
Today, his parents take immense pride in his achievements, knowing that the foundation he built was forged through resilience during hard times. Each hardship Dr. Divyesh faced not only shaped his character but also paved the way for the milestones he later achieved.
