However, it was her decision to enrol at the Jasani Department of Jewellery Designing and Manufacturing at SNDT College that marked a true turning point in her journey. This was where Dr. Avani Raut Sayed’s creative instincts began to transform into structured design thinking. Immersed in a curriculum that married heritage craftsmanship with modern design innovation, Dr. Avani Raut Sayed flourished under the guidance of some of the most respected names in the industry, including Ms. Elizabeth Anstice Brown, a master of intricate design
philosophies, and Mr. Gavin, known for his ability to push students beyond the obvious into the realm of thoughtful elegance. These mentors not only honed her technical skills but also helped her understand the deeper meaning of design—as a dialogue between object and observer, tradition and transformation.

But Dr. Avani Raut Sayed didn’t merely blend into the existing systems—she became an integral force driving innovation, precision, and strategic development across departments.
As Production Manager, a role that required both creative insight and operational expertise, Dr. Avani Raut Sayed oversaw complex manufacturing workflows in a high-pressure export environment. Her leadership touched every phase of the production line—from conceptual design and material sourcing to final quality control. She swiftly emerged as the go-to person for problem-solving and optimization, particularly excelling in streamlining processes to improve product consistency and output efficiency. With a keen eye for detail and an instinct for elegance, she ensured that every piece reflected not only the brand’s legacy but also international standards of excellence.
Her work extended far beyond the factory floor. Dr. Avani Raut Sayed was entrusted with the responsibility of developing and refining ISO (International Organization for Standardization) manuals, a task that required exceptional technical knowledge and organizational discipline. These manuals weren’t just documents—they became the backbone of the company’s commitment to consistent quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
