His father was an employee working in accounts department in the State government Road transport corporation. (KSRTC) .Watching his father navigate the challenges as an employee in a state government transport corporation in the accounts section, Dr. Sharieff learned the value of perseverance and diligence at a tender age. These lessons were not taught through words alone but through the silent, steadfast example his father set—a man who believed in earning an honest living and providing for his family with unwavering commitment.
The environment of his childhood was one of industriousness and ambition. The rhythmic hum of engines, the constant movement of goods, and the occasional discussions about logistics over evening tea were a part of Dr. Sharieff’s formative years. It was here, in the heart of his family’s enterprise, that his budding sense of responsibility took root. He often observed how his father resolved disputes with fairness and made decisions with foresight. These moments would later shape Dr. Sharieff’s leadership style and his commitment to fairness and integrity.

Supporting the Family
To alleviate some of the financial pressures on his family, Dr. Sharieff decided to take on part-time jobs. He was determined to contribute meaningfully to the household and ease his parents’ burden, even if it meant stepping out of his comfort zone. In a city like Bangalore, opportunities were not always plentiful, and young Dr. Sharieff had to take up any job he could find.
He started with administrative tasks, handling paperwork and managing basic office functions for small businesses. The work was often tedious, but he didn’t shy away from it. He understood that every responsibility, no matter how small, played a part in building his future. The daily routine of managing tasks, organizing schedules, and dealing with customer inquiries provided Dr. Sharieff with a foundational skill set in administration. This role, which involved working on heavy-duty machinery and transportation equipment, was physically demanding and required a great deal of practical skill. In Coorg, Dr. Sharieff worked under challenging conditions—often outdoors, facing the elements, and dealing with machinery that demanded precision and strength. The work was gruelling, but it offered him a chance to learn something new, build physical strength, and engage in a completely different kind of labour.
