Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself. -John Dewey

After her schooling, she experienced a total cultural change from modern life to traditional life yet constantly remained ready to learn and impart it to others. She studied for a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and then, in 1987, graduated from Kerala University with a Master of Science in Zoology.

Her love of science drove her to study for a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and subsequently a Master’s degree in the same discipline. Education for Lini was about empowerment rather than only knowledge acquisition. She yearned to believe that education’s transforming ability may release change not only in an individual’s life but also in the more general society.

Her educational journey just did not stop here. She was dedicated to broadening her knowledge, and she subsequently graduated from Annamalai University in 1995 with a Master of Education (M.Ed.), then from Bharathiar University in 2015 with an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology.

Phase 3 Transforming Future Generations: Empowering Tomorrow &Today

Future generations will judge us not by what we say, but by what we do. : Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

In her journey, she emphasizes how teaching is always interesting and rewarding because kids bring different and sometimes surprising points of view to the classroom. The teacher is amazed and pleased by the wide range of ideas and questions the students bring up every day. Some of these questions may seem “simple” or “silly” at first, while others make the teacher wonder how the child came up with those ideas. This variety not only makes things interesting in the classroom, but it also gives the teacher a chance to keep learning.

Each interaction contributes to her goal to create a more engaging educational environment for both the students and the teacher. Therefore, she ensures to apply her knowledge and experience to the upcoming generations. She steps ahead and creates a path where the children can sustain and develop life skills. With her experience as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Biology at PM Shri KV Port Trust, Kochi, she has a high level of experience with opportunities and circumstances.

Her contributions to education go beyond the classroom; she has actively supported curriculum development, student mentorship programs, and faculty training projects. Her education in a Master of Education (M.Ed.) armed her with the educational tools to mould young brains. She developed vast skills to handle tender and fragile students where punishment is not an option to mould them but customized strategy combining counseling, motivating strategies, and interactive learning. This encounter strengthened her conviction that education is about building confidence and resilience, not only about textbooks. She actively supported competency-based education and experiential learning as part of national educational programs such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

“The greatest lessons are not found in textbooks but in the ability to listen, adapt, and uplift every student’s unique journey.”

Dr. Lini Nair
