Being the one son in a family of six children created specific difficulties together with important obligations during my upbringing. Being the only son in his family, Boon Seng developed a special experience of family upbringing, which required him to serve purposes bigger than merely pursuing his personal interests. His parents desired success from every child, but the implicit family pressure directed him to continue the family tradition because he was their only son. The familial expectation touched him not with responsibility but only with positive motivation. He let this influence guide him to pursue knowledge without rest while he spent every effort to excel academically.
His educational beginning happened at a primary school located in Ipoh. The basic foundation he received as a student in this average educational setting later formed the background knowledge for his academic and professional development. He started showing strong learning enthusiasm, which drew him into studying regardless of the interruptions he faced living within a big family.

His recognition of business adaptability led him to successfully take the position of General Manager at Flexi Fortune Sdn Bhd from 1993 to 2004. During 2021 he became managing director at Ocumax Sdn Bhd, where the company provides health and wellness solutions to the market. These shifts between engineering and healthcare showed both his company’s adaptability and market sensitivity.
